I don't doubt that it's a loss, but I think it's good for a coach to at some point leave the alma mater and make a rep elsewhere.

TJ Rushing is a former Stanford star and NFL player who has been one of the non official coaches at Stanford this season as he was at ASU in 2014.  He spoke at the Council this season and was very impressive.Â

I didn't realize he had previously been at ASU, but it certainly speaks well of him that he's in demand as a coach.

I think it is good for our guys to expand their wings at other places. Some day Akina might move on or retire, or maybe we will need someone to step in for Anderson and Rushing will be ready to be a DC.
