I'm not too sure what your gripe is. McCaffrey's rushing stats in his bowl game paled in comparison to the two RBs who got the nod, but his all-purpose exploits were rightly recognized.

Okay, I see now the original thread regarded all bowl team. So, forget about dissing receiving yards. Running backs are expected to do three things, four if you're McCaffrey: run, catch, block, and throw a pass now and then. Go ahead, defend your guys.
Start with only rushing yards. Henry, 158 on 36 carries; McCaffrey 172 on 18 carries. Your turn.

Taking off my cardinal colored glasses, I think it is totally reasonable that Jefferson and Fournette were picked for the all-Bowl game running backs, and McCaffrey, who also had a great day returning the football, was picked for all-purpose.
Move along folks, there is nothing to see here. Instead of looking for ways our guys are slighted, we ought to be celebrating his phenomenal performance and be gratified that he earned recognition for it, whilst remembering that what ESPN publishes in a blog post to drive traffic is utterly meaningless.

I respectfully disagree. Catching the ball out of the backkfield is equally as important and running between the tackles. McCaffrey had 50 yards more than Fournette. My complaint is exactly that he is being snubbed. Yes, best AP player, but also one of the two best running backs. Unless you're in favor or participation trophies you have to award the best player, however positions that might be.
