Among other Stanford golfers, Franklin Huang advanced to match play but lost in the round of 64. Maverick McNealy (last year's runner up) and Bradley Knox were eliminated in a massive 23 golfers for 7 spots playoff after 36 holes of stroke play. Incoming frosh Henry Shimp also made the stroke play field but missed the cut for match play.
