Also makes the Ducks chances of beating the Huskies in Eugene next weekend and putting us back in the thick of the race look highly doubtful.
Always place hope in the Pac-12 just being weird.

My hope comes from the fact the huskies have played one road game, and looked only so-so against an only so-so (at best) UA team. UW had remaining road games against Oregon (OK, maybe not hard, but still, rivalry road game), Utah (despite today's result, should be tough), ×ÉÉ (not a gimme, based on this week), and WSU (they looked pretty good today...). Those are plenty of places to stumble for a team that's played 4/5 games at home and went to OT in their one road game.
Not that I necessarily think our chances are much better, but we've probably gotten through our toughest games, and WSU and Colorado are both at home (arguably our two hardest remaining games).

Back in the days when the Huskies were consistently very good, they still would play much, much better in Husky Stadium that they did on the road. I realize that playing better at home is true for most teams, but I think it was particularly true for Washington. Hoping it plays out this year.
