The last 17 seconds took over 15 minutes to play. That's why I hate football.

I was at that game and sat with my friend from Cal in the Cal section. They were so dejected... Pleading the stupid students to get off the field and lamenting the roughing the passer call. After the game there was no anti-Stanford sentiment; just a lot of "f@#king Bears" grumbling.

After the Colorado game, I was fearful that this team would end the season with only five wins. We were on a downward trajectory and couldn't score touchdowns. It was such a letdown from my expectations for this team at the beginning of the season. I was heartbroken for Christian.

It was a long time ago, but, not only was his knee down, there was a forward lateral in there as well-- if I remember correctly. :)

It doesn't take anything sophisticated. Go to one of the youtube videos that has decent resolution, and step through the last lateral. It leaves the first guy's hand at about the 26 yard line and is caught by the next guy right about the 24 - maybe 24 1/2.
However, at least in the TV picture, there we no officials nearby to actually see what happened.
By the way, this version - a retrospective of the entire game featuring our own GaryT - is kind of fun and has decent quality tape of the game.
