Hey, if not for the on sides kick, Robinson doesn't get a 24 yard sack.

My wife put up a column of post-it notes, each one a step that would have to happen for Stanford to go to the Rose Bowl. The first was Washington beats WSU. Done. Moved and stuck on to the Rose Bowl column on the door.
The next was Utah beats Colorado. Kept that game on while Stanford started. Utah had its chances but couldn't pull it off. Downer.
But, some of the great TV coverage came as the Colorado fans stormed the field. Just cascaded over the walls and passed through the cordon of useless security people. Finally, the wide shots and aerial shots showed they almost covered the entire field level. Impressive sight and impressive spirit. Not happy they beat us and terminated our RB hopes, but it was a fun game to watch.Â

Did anybody else feel like the play calls at the end were a strong indication that Burns is done? Seemed like Shaw was trying to get him a TD as a parting gift for his four year contribution.

Well, I would assume that Burns isn't going to want to hang around for a fifth year just so he can be Chryst's backup. Presumably he'll want to go someplace he can play or just get on with the rest of his life.

I definitely felt like Shaw was trying to get him a rush TD as a memento. I also feel that the only way he sticks around is if there is a grad program he likes at Stanford academically; otherwise he does what is best for himself in terms of football for a year.Â

Victory formation is the Stanford MO. We need look no further back than the Oregon State game, where OSU went for it (and failed) on 4th and 3 from the OSU 8 yard line - Stanford proceeded to run out the final 2 minutes of clock by taking a knee 3 times in a row. Given that victory formation wasn't the call here, someone was definitely trying to get a TD for someone/Burns.
