Morris has been...full of potential: he's been threatening the Jamaican backline, and gotten two solid chances. One of them he wasted by a bad touch, the second missed by a decent but not superlative shot. Ah well.

He has all the technical and athletic ability, just needs more creativity to really be great.

Nice goal, strong play. May be in time for minutes even with the full strength squad.

I would think he's definitely part of the best 23-man squad for the U.S. If you figure Arena will prefer a 4-4-2, then Altidore and Wood are probably your starters. Then it's up in the air in a bit, but you could argue Morris is even the third-best American forward currently active.

Think you have that right. But Morris would work well as a guy to bring on in minute 70. A big jump up for him from even a year ago.

Saw highlights on sports center this morning, followed by interview where Morris presented himself quite well. This was a story or two after Tara 1K, in which she of course was fantastic in her interview. Great to see the university so well represented!

Morris will take it to another level when he can finish with his left foot. Could have scored many more goals in MLS last year if he didn't need to take that extra touch. All the same, he is already one of the best in the USA. Looking forward to seeing him paired with a healthy Dempsey for the Sounders this year (Dempsey just cleared to return to practice).
