I suspect (along with JPRI) that Alfieri's position on the depth chart is pro forma.
He may not start, but I suspect he will see as many snaps as any linebacker.
The WR depth chart is ... sobering. All the WR on the depth chart not named Irwin, combined, have two career catches.
I suspect that we will see Parkinson, and possibly Smith, used primarily as a WR or large slot receiver. Sure hope Wedington is a revelation.
Frosh on the depth chart = Parkinson, Sarrell, Little, Wedington.
Presumably at least these four will not redshirt.
I had come to expect Simmons over Buncom at safety but it's notable to see it.
I am also surprised by the disappearance of Perez.
And I'll be watching to see who is the most common nickel back.
