If it's any consolation, after Rodgers sustained a fractured right collarbone, the Packers sent in former UCLA star Hundley (3rd year) and he was intercepted 3 times.

Well, that didn't last long...back to 3rd string. It's unclear if that demotion is due to injury or performance.

A lot was riding on Kevin's start against the Texans. Really too bad Hogan didn't show better because we know he is a gamer, as he showed in previous outings for the Browns.
Hope he gets another shot (for the Browns or some other team).

I have no reason to argue Hogan is the answer for the Browns at QB, but I can say with confidence that it is outrageous to judge a guy off one start, and demote him from #1 to #3 after that one start. Give the guy three games as the starter, and then you have a meaningful - and defensible - body of evidence.
This quick hook and Hogan demotion is most likely a function of Hugh Jackson simply pushing the panic button because he fears losing his job. It's no way to develop a QB for sure.

There's no doubt the Browns are in panic mode. Kizer got to start 5 games, but Hogan only gets one shot to sink or swim? His first start, and away, with no OC to call a decent game? Hue Jackson has no clue! I'm so PO'd. I agree with OF--I would give Hogan at least 3 games to see what he's got or not. Worst case scenario is they tank and get a first pick again. >:(

Like all terribly-run teams, they will tank, get the first pick, and waste it on a RB or even yet another QB. After all, Indy has blazed the way with the succession of dumb picks they made after acquiring Andrew.

They are going to tank whether Hogan or Kizer is at the helm. Hogan should get more of a chance than one game, but life isn't fair. I just hope the next coach gives him more of a chance. I expect Jackson to be fired in the next few weeks.

I just hope another team gives him a chance. It would have been great if he could have stuck in KC as Smith's back up.
