Coach Shaw now has 1/9th of all Stanford football wins all time.  If he wins 9 next season, it will be 1/8th.

Stanford has the 41st most wins all time among FBS schools with 635.

Shaw doesn't quite crack the Top 250 for wins all time at major schools.  But he's close.

Incidentally, Warner ended up with the fourth most wins all time with 311, right behind Paterno, Bowden and Bryant.

I actually thought it was also!  Wonder if Hamilton got hurt?  Or if they made a tweak to run more in 4Q?  I thought Hamilton was playing well.

Like the whole team, the offensive line has been up and down a lot this season. (Of course it was excellent against UW.) But it's a young unit and had to face a lot of injuries, so on the whole I'm impressed.

Maybe Coach Shaw is Yoda.    Patient and trusting in the process to the point of frustrating us fans.    The team that played last night would not have suffered any of the previous 3 losses.    But i think Yoda knew the team was talented but young and was never going to challenge for the playoffs.  So instead of selling out and making fast changes to win every game , Yoda took his lumps and developed the team to where it is now, with an 80% + chance to take the pac12 north.    patient like Yoda hanging out on Dagobah
