Obviously some software somewhere in the chain picking words out of message text that match an advertiser...but, where did those come from?  A condition imposed by our hosting service?  Just happening on my computer?  Any direct benefit to the Cardboard?

I am not having this problem using a multitude of platforms and several browsers.  Also, this sort of thing seems to run counter to the ethos of this site.  Thus, if I were to guess, I would guess that your computer has been infected with malware, or perhaps you "agreed" to some free software.

OK.  Some evil bastard made it past our company protections.  And, no. I am not referring to the decision to hire me.  Certain words are highlighted on text. Hover curser over them a small window pops up promoting some purchase opportunity related to that word.
