I look forward to meeting all of you when Utah comes to Stanford in 2018 and hopefully one day we meet again at the Field of Jeans for the PAC-12 championship.

I like the name "Field of Jeans" but if you've read some of these threads, it appears that that will be a limited window of opportunity because the game will eventually go maybe to LA and then to Las Vegas. But 2018, 2019, and possibly 2020 seem to be in play. 8)

Nice to have you drop in Shasta. Utes will reload, and a 2nd year with your new OC should show even more progress with time to recruit to that style. Kelly's presence may toughen up the South, and who knows whats to happen w ASU, but Utes should be in the mix. Cheers.

This. It pretty much makes it impossible for my wife and I to make it there; she's a lawyer and has court right up until 5pm, and she's my good luck charm so I'm not going without her. If this was Saturday, no problem at all. Heck, if it was Friday at 7:30pm we'd be a bit rushed and hungry, but it would still be doable. But literally at end of the work day on a work day? It's stupid as hell. The Pac-12 is basically saying "***** the in-person crowd" to get TV ratings.

I hope the team realizes how badly fan attendance has been hampered by the Pac-12 scheduling. They'll have to play without the geographic home field advantage one might assume comes with a Santa Clara stadium :(

I've given up entirely on the Pac-12 giving a rat's patoot about fans. My concerns are about student-athletes, competitive parity, and national TV exposure. I'm glad to see no teams will have a Friday roadie after a Saturday roadie next year. That's one of several things I'd like to see changed:
- All bye weeks in Sept/Oct. Anything wrong with 3 teams per week in October?
- All OOC games in Sept/Oct. Yeah it's a pipe dream but...
- Maximum of 6 games per season with kickoffs after 5pm Pacific
- CCG on Saturday

As noted frequently here, these two items are intimately linked. If one is a pipe-dream, so is the other.
On the other hand, I think that this year the only Pac 12 team with an OOC game after October was Stanford. So, let's go yell at those guys.

Are you going to roll the Shasta trailer to a lot next to the stadium or one of the nearby tailgate groves? It is a long way to haul that rig but it sure would be a highlight for the Stanford fans to see.

I believe Stanford has sold out....or come close to selling out....its ticket allotment. I think we'll be OK.

I'm guessing the Pac-12 would be happy to have Stanford stop insisting on playing ND and having it be Thanksgiving weekend. Then they wouldn't have to worry about having to find someone for us to play earlier in the year, or getting yelled at for a teams not getting a bye until that weekend...
