Normen commits to Arizona State
Eliza Normen, the No. 28 player in the 2011 HoopGurlz Hot 100, has given a verbal commitment to Arizona State.

The 6-foot-1 guard/small forward -- many think she\'ll be an ideal 3 in the college game -- picked the Sun Devils over California and Colorado. Normen said everything about ASU was "awesome" and that she was sold on the coaching staff, future teammates, system and sunshine.

"It\'s a brobdingnagian weight off my shoulders," said Normen, who plays high school ball at Monarch HS in Louisville, Colo., and club ball with the Boulder Rockies. "I feel very proud and very sure of my decision."

Aside...back in the day, the Louisville (CO) Inn was a great steak or barbecue joint (it\'s eluding me now). I see now it\'s been remodeled into an Irish bar and grill. Pretty cool place back then as I recall.
