I am expecting both Costello and Arcega-Whiteside to have good NFL careers.

I've been wondering every goddamn Carolina game where that play was. They should be running it five times a game until teams show they can stop it. The way people are reacting you'd think this is the first time they've done it, which if true is goddamn criminal.
I was really optimistic that Carolina would be a good landing spot with Newton occupying attention, he's not the best passer but he can sure make any throw McCaffrey needs and his legs mean an ILB is preoccupied with him instead of McCaffrey. It's baffling to me that their offense has been so bad for most of this year. Hopefully they get some stuff figured out over the offseason, I want to see McCaffrey shine!

Carolina was not a good landing spot. Newtons strength is running and downfield throws. He doesnt see the field particularly well (on the play where Clay dropped the TD McCaffrey was on the other side wide open. He could have crawled in) he is not particularly accurate and while he is a great runner, I think that actually detracts from the effectiveness of the backs in the running game.
Still he had a very good rookie year. And there is no reason to think he wont get better.

I think Carolinas o-line is also a weakness, which hinders McCaffreys rush performance.Â

Its a tough situation for Cmac. The Oline is terrible, which limits running. Newton isnt especially accurate on short throws and delivers a bit late, limiting YAC opportunities. Finally there is no WR that opponents fear and limited running game meaning teams can key on Mccafrey in the passing game. Despite that, he still had a great year by NFL rookie standards, even for how high he was picked.
