While I am still not convinced that Stanford does all that much more redshirting than other programs, in this case I think that is a pretty safe assumption.

That would be a good research program; compare percentage of incoming classes redshirted across top programs. I do think that is Shaw's philosophy (to redshirt as many as possible) because he's said so. After Spring and Summer, we'll know more about who will play.
