But he has said - and shown in how many redshirt year-to-year - that there has to a significant burden of proof of contribution to take off the redshirt, more so (IMO) than other programs with which we compete for recruits. But, again, perhaps this could be shown (or not) with measurable data from other teams.

The first game I recall was 1953 vs ucla.  Bobby Garrett and Stanford won 21-20. Garrett kicked all three extra points and as a DB had 2 interceptions
