This roadie will tell us a lot. Each starter will receive two opportunities v. teams that have been pleasant surprises for their fans thus far. I am interested in seeing whether Suarez can solidify himself in the rotation regardless of Cueto’s status. Can the Shark gets things back on track? Can Blach pitch well against anyone not wearing Dodger Blue. How about the hitting, will the timely hitting fans have seen recently continue? Will Williamson pick up where he left off? SF will be playing in smaller ballparks on this trip. How will that impact them? Lots of questions that will be answered over the next couple weeks. I would be happy with a 6-4 trip...

Mize is one of the two players who holds the record, with six; one of his three-homer games was in 1947 when he played with the NY Giants. but he is tied for the record; the other player has no Giants connection that I know of (aside from having played against the SF Giants).

The most recent one was three years ago. The other two were in the 90's, one by a pitcher who had best been known for his accomplishments as a Dodger.
Surprisingly (at least to me) is that far more than half of the immaculate innings in MLB have been since 2000.
