Oooh! Oooh! This next bit of advice is not as important as avoiding Kal football but is more useful : Don't just throw some normally useful gameday stuff in a backpack and head for the stadium. When you get to the stadium some 60-something guy will tell you backpacks aren't allowed. Same with normal tote bags. You will be faced with walking all way back to car, tossing the pack in the trash or , supposedly, as I was told, check the stuff with someone outside. Who that was wasn't explained to me. I chose to dump the pack (a cheap bank promotion item). The policy and regulations are explained below with acceptable items described. Note it involves giving Stanford more money but the cost might be worth it if you plan to attend more games.
Note that cocaine is not among the specifically forbidden things carried into the stadium. Just thought I'd mention that.
Don't ask me why my post is justified right instead of the normal left. I just assume when I get up from my desk I'll be in Britain and driving on the wrong side of the road as well.
