KC might start the next game, but UT isn't exactly going anywhere. I hope this changes and Keller has a chance to prove what he can do. That being said, te next 3 games are going to be brutal (UGA, Auburn and then Bama).
Good luck KC and UT!
Keller led a 12 play, 76 yard TD drive and an 11 play, 69 yard TD drive. He did pretty well, 3 for 7 with a 25 yard pass, two-point conversion, no sacks, no INTs, no fumbles and no TDs. Guarantano was 7 for 18 with two sacks, one fumble, two INTs, no TDs. UT turned the ball over six times, all on Guarantano's watch (three by Guarantano).
And yet, coach Pruitt still supports Guarantano. He said after the game about Guarantano: “I think Jarrett is going to be fine. Jarrett is tough. I knew that when I came here. He's learning on the go, and he's maturing. I think he's a guy that's going to be a really good quarterback one day. I like the way he's growing into it. But we've got to give the guy a chance a little bit. He can't take as many hits when he's not looking."
