While much of Herbert's great stats last year were a function of sub-par defenses faced, it's a little hard to be that specific.
Last year Herbert faced two P5 teams with winning records, UA and ASU. He played rather well in those games, going a combined 33-56, 516 yds, 4 TD, 1 INT. PER = 156.
On the other hand, neither of those teams were defensive jugernauts.
