The “old swinging gate” was stuffed. The play didn’t work. Then the RB has the best run I’ve seen this year. Broke a ton of tackles.

False start and a delay of game already.
By the way, Stanford has been better in this regard of late. No boneheaded timeout or delay of game in the last couple games that I can remember.

Oregon could get run off the field if they don't adapt to the crowd noise and the environment quickly. This has the makings of a game that could get away from them in a hurry.

I am not saying Washington State isn't a very good team, and we will have to be in top form to beat them, but before we overreact to this game: we are, in part, seeing the large advantage home-field can be in CFB. Wazzu also lost to USC on road, which is why taking care of business with your home games is critical in deciding division titles and the like.
Depleted OL (injuries since our game) also looks leaky too.

This just confirms that if we want a chance to win the north, we absolutely have to beat WSU at home next week. Washington plays WSU in Pullman this year and it looks likely that WSU will take the Apple Cup. If we lose in Seattle, and Washington loses the Apple Cup, we can still take the North by beating WSU at home and otherwise winning out, I think?
Of course that speculation seems pretty ridiculous considering how poorly we seem to be playing and how well WSU, Washington, and (as of today) even Cal seem to be doing. Our players and coaches need to focus on blocking, running, and tackling--not standings.
