I included this at the end of my game recap, but I thought I'd post it here, because it's pretty surprising. Costello is climbing the Stanford record lists fairly quickly. This obviously has everything to do with the current structure of the offense, but it's impressive nonetheless.

• Saturday was Costello's seventh 300-yard passing game. Only Steve Stenstrom had more, with nine in 1993. Only Stenstrom (15), Elway, Todd Husak, and Luck have more career 300-yard games than Costello.
  
• Costello has passed for 3,198 yards this season, making him just the sixth Stanford quarterback to reach the 3,000-yard mark. With two games remaining, it wouldn't be a stretch for him break Stenstrom's single-season record of 3,627.
  
• Costello threw five touchdown passes on Saturday, something only six other Stanford quarterbacks have accomplished.
  
• Costello has thrown for 28 scores this season, with is third on the Stanford list, trailing just Andrew Luck's 2010 and '11 seasons, and his 42 career touchdowns rank seventh on the all-time list.

That's all well and good, but he should scramble more often . . .

I'm curious to see if he makes 2nd team all Pac-12 QB. Minshew seems to have the first team slot locked up.  Then it's between Herbert, Browning, and Costello.  Costello probably should get the nod as he leads in PER, is #2 in completion %, YPA, Total Yards, and TDs.

Agreed, on the basis of numbers, and how dependent the offense is on him, he should be a lock to be second team all-PAC-12 (and has a case to be make for an edge over Minshew as first teamer).

There is no way that Herbert should be competitive with Costello.  In one fewer games, Costello has: more completions, a higher completion percentage, more yards, a higher yards per attempt, the same number of touchdowns, and a higher pass efficiency rating.  The only advantage Herbert has over Costello is fewer interceptions.

Likewise, compared to Browning, Costello has more completions, a higher completion percentage, more yards, more touchdowns, and a higher pass efficiency rating.  Browning has a small edge in yards per attempt and fewer interceptions (though KJ has thrown more passes, so on a percentage basis, they are almost identical).

OC yes. QB coach? I think it could be argued that Pritchard has done an excellent job as QB coach between Costello and Hogan. Similarly, Bloomgren did an excellent job as OL coach. But neither is a good OC.

For an all conference team, probably not much weight on wins. Josh Rosen was the second team selection last year, and UCLA was fourth in the south, and had a 6-7 record.

I think your list is pretty good.  Not sure Okereke is one of the top four inside linebackers in the conference though.

- Weaver (Cal), Kunasczyk (Cal), Burr-Kirven (UW), Chase Hansen (Utah)

The first three are ILBs and Hansen is more officially plays Rover for Utah, which is sort of like a WLB.  You get into issues with who is a 4-3 DE and 3-4 OLB with these all-conference selections.  

Usually they go 3 LBs and 4 DL, so it's possible Okerke could be a second team all Pac-12 selection.
