Haase had coaching success at UAB, and it still remains to be seen if he'll have it at Stanford. But if Stanford doesn't work out, I wouldn't be surprised to see him land on his feet at another D1 campus.
If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

Unless Cormac is secretly engaged to Marta Sniezek (which I would understand his need to follow), I'm boiling over this. The fact that we (non-insiders) may never know the reason for the transfer, worsens it.
Why did he transfer? The coach? The academics? I get the Robbie and Travis transfers (not his guys, wanting a taste of the tourney, etc.), but Cormac is his (Haase) recruit. Baffling.

Rumors circulating that Haase has lost the team, but those are just rumors. Certainly wouldn't be PT or scheme fit - he was a fiery competitive floor-burn type of guy, exactly the Haase type.
