Nice article from the Chicago Tribune about former Stanford players Nico Hoerner and Tommy Edman.

They are on the opposite sides of the NL Central pennant race -- Hoerner with the Cubs, Edman with the Cardinals.
Since being called up in mid-season, Edman has became an every day player in St. Louis. He's played 3B, 2B, and RF. In half a season, he's hitting .286 with 10 HRs, 32 RBIs, and 13 steals.
Hoerner has played only 9 games, but he's off to a hot start, hitting .351 with 2 HRs and 11 RBIs.
Nice to see their success.
