You've obviously repressed the memory of the 2006 Arizona game. Stanford had 52 yards of offense -- 58 passing yards and -6 rushing yards -- and 42 yards of kick returns for a grand total of 94 all-purpose yards. Our only points were from a 72-yard pick six by Wopamo Osaisai.
That Arizona game was the worst I've ever seen the team play, and arguably it was the nadir of the Stanford program.
This year's loss to UCLA reminded me greatly of it. This year certainly felt worse because I had higher expectations.
