In 1983 I went to lunch with then Defense Coordinator Fred Von Appen.  It was just before the season started and we asked how the defense  looked. His response: “not very good. We’re small.  But we make up for it because were slow.” We thought he was kidding and laughed. He wasn’t. They went 1-11. 

That’s with this defense looks like to me at times soft and slow a really bad combination

Hoping the defense finds a way to force Montez into a mistake. Tucker probably will just run and run and run, though.
