They can’t run the ball. Period. Washington state is quicker . They get into the gaps and beat Stanford’s lineman. They simply can’t run the ball, they got to keep throwing it. I understand they’re probably gonna lose a track meet. But they’re probably gonna lose anyway. And they might as well let it rip. If nothing else I’m enjoying watching Mills..
If nothing else I just love to see Shaw throw caution to the wind. Essentially go for it no matter where he is on the field – unless it’s fourth and very long. Take a shot and see where you end up

I do understand that having a bad defense is a problem, and being behind is a problem, but I submit that getting into a track meet with WSU won't end well for us. We get the ball after halftime. We need to figure a way to keep their offense of the field, or we are toast. Their big advantage in number of plays run will take it's toll. Now, if we can't run the ball, we ARE doomed, but we should at least try it. So far we have like six rushing plays.
