There was some discussion on here about Sherman's self negotiated contract with the 49ers and doubts from industry experts on whether it was a smart deal for him.
Of course, we'll never know what he would have made if an agent had negotiated more of a conventional deal, but by being voted in the Pro-Bowl this year on the original ballet triggers a lot of money and guarantees. Congrats to Richard for having the guts to bet on himself and the work ethic to make it work out.
