Zhang wins 2 and 1. On to the Finals tomorrow
Now I guess we worry about that three letter word pro?

Zhang is now -13, with Heck (-18) the two dominant players in the event.
Alas, they had to face off in the round of 16.

Yes worry about her going pro and worry about her threatening to boycott playing on the Stanford team if her demands are not met.
I watched the entire semi-final on the Golf Channel. Normally I find golf as boring as paint drying but because she is a Stanford recruit the match was exciting to me. Even if she doesn't win tomorrow the announcers were saying she is as good as the other three semi-finalists, who are three and four years older than her.

Almost as much fun as having the chance to root for a Stanford (2B) player again was rooting against a Trojan (miss! miss!)

3rd time in the last 4 years with a Stanford affiliated player in the finals. Albane Valenzuela was runner up in 2017 and 2019.
And 2nd time in the last 4 years with a Stanford affiliated player being the medalist. Shannon Aubert in 2017 and Rachel Heck in 2020.

tied after 8 holes. Ruffels birdied 2 of the first 3 holes to go two up, but Zhang answered with birdies on 5 and 6.
Another Trojan opponent (senior at U$C). Why hasn't SC been decertified as a college yet?

I think Zhang needs to get the lead going into 16. She's played 16-18 in seven-over, all of the others in 14-under.

All even after 35 holes
On the pro tour Andrea Lee has a 65 today to end 8 under. Right now she is tied for 5th

She did it! 38th hole. Ruffles rimmed out a short putt.
