News is circulating that basketball could start between thanksgiving and Dec 4. Evidently the Presidents are suggesting/thinking this

Guess you forgot we have a women's team. When Tennessee came to Maples 4 days before Christmas in 2017, our first women's team to be AP unranked in over a decade still drew over 3,000 fans. Same match up a week before Christmas in 2019 drew over 4,500 for a satisfying 27-point blowout.

Am I right to think that even if there are games during that time period, they would have no spectators?

I've been to many of the home Tennessee games, and the streak-ending UConn one as well. But I suspect those are the exceptions that prove the rule.
