That's true.
The concern for most ADs seems to be that a college age athlete that is asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic will spread the virus to others on a team or across an athletic department leading to postponements, cancellations or forfeits.
The bigger medical worry would be that the young athletes infect their older and less fit coaches and trainers.
It is pretty troubling that Stanford is testing so often and could get a bunch of cases literally overnight. The infamous Stanford campus bubble should help protect the athletes from the prevailing rates off-campus, but that same campus bubble could facilitate a rapid spread to multiple sports in mere days.
Guess we will all get to see what happens over the next ~5-10 days.
