Find a hotel with dining area that has a mask policy. Surely the arena will require masks. I understand the reluctance to venture into a state that doesn't control wearing masks as a statewide policy.
The players and coaching staffs of all the teams must feel it's safe enough to get into and out of the state without contracting Covid. But it seems likely there will be some players who test positive during the tournament.

Those games will allow a 17% venue capacity for fan attendance, with masks and physical distancing required.
Capacity for basketball games is 20,667. So about
3,500 tickets might be available.
Go to the games, return to your swanky hotel, room service, drinks with other vaccinated fanatics.

I have plane tickets and hotel reservations, but figure the chances of getting tickets is very low.

Well...I'm vaccinated, and so are a couple of Stanford friends in my area. I am definitely interested in attending if anyone has ticket information. And if I go, I'd love to meet up with anyone from the board who's going.

California is roughly in the middle of the pack right now in vaccination (19% of people have gotten at least one dose, and 9% are fully vaccinated), and with the exception of a few outliers like Alaska and New Mexico that are above 25%, most states are within a couple percentage points of one another.
My wife was able to snag a vaccine by going to Moscone center and waiting until the end day and getting one of the leftover vaccines (from no shows, etc.) that would have gone bad if unused. I anticipate that we are in a probably a few weeks away from vaccination being opened up completely. The mass vaccination site at SFO servicing San Mateo county is doing 5000 vaccines a day for a county with a population of 800,000 (I am on the volunteer list, so I know how many people they need), and that is just one mass vaccination site. The US is now averaging more than 2 million a day, and should hit close to 3 million by the end of the month.

Yes, saw that list, and Charlie Creme is not paying attention to what's really going on. He lists Haley as a player who was considered, but doesn't list Kiana. To me, there's no question between those two as to which should be considered, and it's Kiana. I think Creme is just focused in on Haley's early season performance and her past #1 recruit status, ignoring the realities of how she is actually performing now. Playing well, but not at All American level. To me, Kiana really should be on an All American team, but doubt she will be.
