Throughout the years we have gotten way fewer FOY awards than you might expect because our frosh usually don't play as much as those on worse teams. I also like to watch how star frosh do when they go around the conference again in their soph year. Some turn out to be starts. Some get scouted more and better and are contained, never really become stars. I can see a good case for Curry as FOY. I can also see one for Kneepkins (whose name I am sure I just mangled) since she scored fewer points but was more efficient than curry and she also was a big reason her team improved so much.
