Reminds me of Kylie Minogue's recent disco album, which is btw the best work of her career.

Prob better known as the new Batman's girlfriend. She reminds me of Lana Del Ray but better and less nihilistic. I'm hoping she pulls a New Kids on Father John Misty's Tiffany by the time they get here.

If you happen to be at Newport Folk on Friday, look for me. I will be the Asian guy wearing some sort of Ohio t-shirt (in tribute to The National, who is headlining). Also there to see Japanese Breakfast and Courtney Barnett. My hope is that Taylor Swift makes a surprise appearance during The National's set. Her appearance has been speculated on ever since she bought that mansion on Watch Hill. If she was ever going to do it, it would be this year between her song writing partners appearance on Friday and Saturday and one of her best friends on the Sunday bill.

Kate Bush is 3 days shy of 64, so it’s a good guess, but I don’t think “Running up that Hill” has hit #1 in its current resurgence.

Hulk’s mention of “Running Up That Hill”, which gained renewed notoriety for its use in Stranger Things does bring up that with streaming shows and the like, there is a new source of curated playlists that I might not otherwise have heard. For example, I liked “Trouble Coming” from Royal Blood, which was on the soundtrack for The Grey Man.

Heading to Stanford tomorrow for the "Tigres del Norte" concert. They are the most famous Mexican Norteño band around, and it will be my first time ever stepping in Frost Amphitheater (only took 39 years after my arrival on campus).
