Show me a program that complacently accepts more than a decade of mediocrity and I'll show you a mediocre (at best) program. And like everything else in life, what you accept you get. Thing is, there is no impetus whatsoever for a return to competitive, exciting mens hoops at Stanford, a la Mike Montgomery. Several posters on this board are evidence thereof. What-the-hell good is "great recruitment" if you can't capitalize on it? Yo, Bernie? You out there?

I never understood the rational some poster use as why not to fire the coach. Citing "he has a great recruiting class and we don't want to lose those recruits if we fire the coach". Even though said coach will not capitalize:) them and STILL FINISH .500 AGAIN.
