OK, with a nights sleep, I have gone over the records again and this list might be more accurate, with the help of the corrections provided above. See if a few of these bring back some memories!

We are averaging a little more than one such game a year. Tara is probably happier though with fewer rather than more of these performances, provided the points get distributed across more players. To have such an outpouring usually means more than that a particular player got "hot," but that either her teammates were not keeping up or the opposition was lopsided in the way they could defend. For example, Smith's outpouring against Ohio State still resulted in a loss, and Iriafen's last night could have as well if Demetre and Lepolo had not also contributed some points.
36 puts Iriafen and Lexie up there as the two highest performances since the Chiney Ogwumike era, but it would take 38 points to crack the top 10 list, and 47 points to pass Appel, Wiggins, Starbird, Hoff, and Nneka (who are on that list, most more than once) as the greatest Stanford performance ever. Great players like Azzi, Powell, Whiting etc. are not on that list--probably because they played for more balanced teams.

Key points: Tara really reflects on her joy for the game, and it certainly does not sound like she is anywhere close to retirement.
Referring to her players: "I'm so jealous, because I never got to do what they get to do. It's a little girl's dream playing out through them. I never got to do it but I get to watch it, and I have the best seat in the house."
She was asked when Brink would be back. "I have no idea. I think she was kinda close today. Obviously we want her every single game, but we need her to be healthy."
Tara said the atmosphere at Maples today was in the top 5 of her career, up there with UConn and early career games against Arkansas and Washington.
