As much as F1 drivers train to strengthen their neck muscles, I suspect the same will reduce likelihood of TBI in football players. I'm happy that there are football players who do not have brain trauma, but I am far sadder about those who do have brain trauma.
Bryce Love could have been a transcendental player. But he seems like he'll be a great human, great Stanford alum, and that alone makes him worth knowing.
Every football player, except for a handful of kickers, has brain trauma. If and when it becomes noticeable to the player or those around him varies from person to person.
