If you’re ever in SD catch a show at the Rady Shell, outdoors by the harbor. One of the best-kept secrets in SoCal. Used to be exclusively for the SD Symphony but then Irwin Jacobs and a few others put in $85 million for renovations and the performance spectrum expanded to include rock, pop, R&B and jazz as well. I’ve seen acts like Neil Young, The Beach Boys, the Spinners, Kool & the Gang, Natalie Cole, and later this week John Legend there.
