I just picked Stanford to lose to the current 14th place team in the ACC!  Unless something changes, we will all need the MIB treatment at the end of the season.  If we can choose then I want to reset to 2016, maybe just after the Rose Bowl?

So are you saying do not underestimate our guys abilities to raise the opponent to new and glorious heights above the spread?

I say this in fun, so nobody should get mad, but the scoring for this game seems odd to me! I predicted an NC State win of 41-13 (28 point margin), and lost to two guys who predicted an NC State win of 38-17 (21 point margin). Actual score was 59-28, so a 31 point margin. If I'm understanding the scoring, if you pick the winner and don't pick an exact score of either team, it comes down to coming closest to the overall point total of the game without factoring in the margin of victory. So someone who picked NC State to win a nail-biter of 44-43 would have gotten the most points. Seems like predicting margin of victory should matter!

Thank you for your service. :) Seems like the main category for scoring could be closest to the margin of victory instead of closest to total points, meaning that the "error score" is margin of victory. Everything else the same including bonus points for correctly guessing scores. But I haven't gamed it out and I'm not going to, so all good. It was the first time I participated, and I knew I had the most pessimistic prediction. I'm not joking when I thought during the game that "hey, at least I'm going to win the prediction!" So I was surprised that I didn't, lol.
