Daniels was looking for Ayomanor on that INT, but between his average arm strength and running backward, he put the ball closer to the trailing DB, who made the play (the WR sort of fumbled the ball onto the ground during the catch attempt imo). Ugh.
The ups and downs of one game with Ashton Daniels as the Stanford QB. OMFG. It has to be disappointing for the whole team collectively who make hardworking plays from time to time only for Daniels to make bone headed plays over and over repeatedly that will lead to another loss. We have a lot of flaws as a team but poor QB play alone has lost us several games this year.

2nd and 2 and we couldn't get 2 yards in 2 running plays!!!!!!!??????? SICK!
TD SJS!!! This coaching staff is PATHETIC IN THE EXTREME!

#49 Jackson unfortunately gives up a corner fade TD to SJSU #2. Stanford has 1:55 to make things right.
Unfortunately our tendency to run between the tackles in short yardage situations has been somehow telegraphed. (heavy sarcasm) SJSU loaded that box, clearly NOT an optimal time to run. And we ran.

TT is the new Haase.
Probably doing just enough to keep his job while frustrating the ever dwindling pool fans that simply can't believe Stanford would settle for this level of coaching.

What a fitting end to the season... Daniels with a grounder when we needed 6 yards.

Daniels should never see the starting role again. He has an unbelievable knack for throwing the worst balls at the worst time. Any other program and the coach would run him off.

Coulda, shoulda won this game. Bad play calls on the coach, who should understand the limitations of our QB. Terribly disappointing.

We snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, again.
I have a higher opinion of Daniels than some do here, but when the game is on the line, he sure manages to choke.

The UC system and the Cal State system are undefeated vs TT-coached Stanford teams. But hey, we own the Cal Poly schools.

That last drive was enough to sour me on Coach TT as our future coach. What a dismal series of calls! PATHETIC IN EXTREMIS. And Daniels lets the ball slip out of his hands on 4th down. OMG! It will take a long time to get over this fiasco!
