I know it's all about the television, and I'll admit that I've had a couple of pretty fun trips to it over the years, but still, given the recent state of basketball at USC and UCLA, it just doesn't seem...right...that the whole conference has to keep going down to their backyard for the Conference Tourney.

One other thing, the more I see of long-term, "successful" coaches at other schools, the more I'm amazed at the good fortune we had to have Monty for so long at Stanford [and, I'm sure, the more despondent I'll be once again this year to see him walk over to and sit down on the visitors' bench this weekend...]
