Odd, no TV ban.  Guess that might mess too much with the Big 10, or worse,  ESPN.  Can't have that.    The stripping of wins back to 1998, leaving them "winless" for 13 yrs. seems silly.  Maybe to strip Paterno of his most-wins title?

USC fans are saying the 65 total scholarship limit will probably result in actual functional scholarship losses.

Well, Penn State is boned.

From a Stanford perspective...

1) Are there any PSU players that might transfer to Stanford? 

2) Will Stanford have a shot at TE Adam Breneman, DE Garrett Sickles, or any other PSU recruits now that they have been effectively removed from post season eligibility for at least four seasons, and maybe more if they are competitively too weak as a result of sanctions?

Sickels and Breneman never showed much interest in Stanford so I'll be shocked if any of them even consider coming west.
