We beat the number 2 team in the country despite all our missteps. Tomorrow I will focus on what we can improve but just so thrilled to see that.

Nunes has guts! Not the same level of skills as Andrew, of course, but some of those rushes for first down had me going absolutely nuts!

I am sure there will be some discussion on Nunes, pros and cons, but let's give it up for that defense, for Stepfan Taylor (Voldemort!), Ertz and the other guys who kicked L.A.'s ass tonight. We have a ton of pros on this team... PROS!!!

This is the best defense I have seen at Stanford since I have been following football (early 1990's). Better than the '92 team with John Lynch.

The D was a large, cold rock.
and the win is so much better when you were "supposed to be" beaten soundly.
And when it silences narratives ... Like "last year it was really because of the SC coach's delay of game call". ... It was all A. Luck... Etc.

Kulabafi and the Tunnel Workers Union! Great blocking up front...I was shouting "jumbooooo" every time Stanford lined up nine men shoulder-to-shoulder on the LOS. That play really paid dividends in the fourth quarter :) Taylor waited for his blocks and then danced/juked/ran through would-be $C tacklers to gain close to 8 yards per carry on that drive in the 4th quarter when the Trojan DL got abused. Too bad about the false start that killed it though.

I liked it when we lined up jumbo and then pitched it to the outside. (Of course, it only worked because we went up the middle so much.)

Great job!
I'll have to admit I expected our defense to wear down in the second half, but it was U$C who got worn down.
The offense wasn't fantastic, but it was good enough.
Bring on the Ducks! :)
(P.S. I realize we have a lot of tough games before we play Oregon, and, no, I'm not overlooking those.)
