-- Of course I was on my feet in fury on some of those predictable gaffney-up-the-middle calls. There was one 3rd and 6 in the 4th quarter... it seemed so clear that it was not going to go six yards.  But, I have to admit that the dividends pay off in the game when those unpredictably go for 9, 12, 20 yards strictly because the defense's line is exhausted...

-- Can someone tell me what melody the LSJUMB plays these days as that little mini-interlude tune that comes in the middle of All Right Now?

I winced at the call. But a few minutes later, Gaffney went 11 on a second-and-15, and then eight on a second-and-seven. He was making yardage in big chunks when the Bruins de-stack the box in obvious passing situations.

Just looked at the Shaw conference transcript. Referring to Jordan Richards, his quote: "He's athletic, he's smart. He's our other quarterback back there."
