The argument is rather strange. The poster notes that the secondary ticket market might be soft if UCB fans avoid stubhub. The flaw in the logic is that the Stanford AD has already sold every ticket and will/could sell any UCB returns at face value. The potential softness of the secondary market is perhaps reassuring to Coach "Rainy" fans, but the Stanford AD already has its money because the game is sold out (and the UCB AD too since conference games normally have a very equitable split of the ticket proceeds).
Despite the flaw in the logic, I would agree that the secondary market will be flooded in November. The likely source will be UCBers trying to get $5 for their tickets rather than coming to watch UCB's dynamic and creative spread offense.
FWIW - For those that dislike Coach Shaw's conservative playcalling, BCS bowl 12-2, type seasons, there is an alternate college football style available for you. Rainy D runs really creative, though normally unsuccessful, plays. Check them out, plenty of seats seem to be available for anyone ready to "enjoy" the entertaining & dynamic playcalling known as the bear raid.
