Poor San Jose St. taking a major drubbing whenever the subject of Boise St. comes up.   All the Boise debate centers on strength of schedule and whenever their Boise\'s schedule came up, the Spartans were used as an example of a sucky cupcake among other sucky cupcakes in the WAC.

Stanford picked a bad week to not crush Wazzu. There\'s no reason Stanford should be ranked behind Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio St., or Wisconsin based on overall body of work so far, but because that\'s where they landed on the Harris poll, they\'ll likely stay above us unless they lose. Which will hurt Stanford\'s overall BCS ranking. Computers like us, as they should.

On the Wisconsin thing.  Tonight,  as he consistently has done this season,  Kirk Herbstreit  gave props for how tough the Pac-10 was.  Didn\'t have to.  Most of his cohort on the show seem perfectly happy with the SEC being the toughest sumbitches in the world.

Really, poor San Jose State. They have played at Alabama (and got clubbed) and at Wisconsin (and stayed with the Badgers for a good half). What drives me crazy about all the strength of schedule debate is that some of these "terrible" teams that Boise State plays never get mentioned when discussing Alabama\'s strength of schedule. Boise State at least clubbed San Jose State on the road.

Yeah, SEC people (including ESPN folk) will say that it just shows how great those two offenses are.  But (I say) you can\'t have it both ways!!
