...on the politics of BIG TIME college athletic administration. This is about Texas, but it is very well written and using the Mack Brown situation to illuminate how and why decisions are made. And, it features Andrew Luck's daddy. The second part also digs into the Mack Brown situation but--let's be honest now-- it gets boring after a while watching Sandy Barbour and Sonny Dykes continually walk into swinging doors. A peek at the politics of dumping Mack Brown is a welcome diversion.
As noted on the Booty, it also gives us perspective via contrast on our AD, Bernard Muir, who might turn out to be a fine AD, but is mostly as stealthy as a Soviet missile sub compared to Bob Bowlsby.
