2010 wideouts -- with Whalen, Baldwin at his peak, and Owusu just off his -- were the previous high-water mark in the Harbaugh/Shaw era. But it seems to me the 2014 wideouts are (theoretically, assuming health and everyone returning) likely to be at worst equivalent. Thoughts?

Can you really compare WRs to WRs without factoring in the tight ends? The way Stanford used its TEs when we had 'em, it seems as if the only way to look at them is as a single group. If you do that, 2010 wins by a bunch. (Though I agree that the WRs by themselves have been a pleasant surprise this year.)

This year's wide receivers produced more yards and more TDs than the 2010 wide receivers. I think this year's group will only get better next year.
