I believe Shaw was quoted as telling seniors if they thought there was any possibility they might be leaving to go through Senior Day in order to get the experience, but that doing so would not in any way prejudice their opportunity to return next year if they decided they wanted to. Maybe this was just for PR purposes to deal with anticipated public speculation, but Shaw seems to be a straight shooter on these kinds of things, so I'm assuming Reynolds [or any of the eligible players] probably took him at his word.
