It has been pretty clear since his sophomore year in college that the ceiling for Luck is to be the best quarterback in football, and while he's probably further away from there than his record might indicate, he's also a player who can look every bit that good for stretches at a time.

This guy is a 6-foot-4, 239-pound beast with a lightning bolt for an arm. They don't teach that at Stanford.

Is there any doubt that he was a perfect fit for Stanford?  I only met Andrew once; after the Sun Bowl season (his first as QB) Stanford put on a pancake breakfast for fans of the team [as an aside, a fabulous event that I wish they had resurrected].  My son and I happened to sit at Andrew's table (also there was Stepfan Taylor).  All I can say is what an amazing kid.  Confident but humble.  Nice to a fault.  That bit in the story about his "innate ability to make sure the person he’s talking to, he has your total focus, and this is a meaningful conversation.”  That's dead on accurate.  The only other person I knew like that, who could be a superstar yet made you feel like you were the amazing/important one was Kristin Folkl.

There is also a robber token, initially on the desert; if a player rolls 7, the robber must be moved to another hex, which will no longer produce resources until the robber is moved again; the player may also steal a resource card from another player. In addition, when a 7 is rolled, all players with more than 7 resource cards must discard half. However, the player gets to choose which half of their resource cards they must discard. Also, if a player has an odd number of cards over seven, such as 9, the player will round down when determining how many they will discard.

I just added Settlers of Catan to my Amazon cart.

You won't be disappointed. It's a great game. But for those who have never played, it's best to play it with people who have played it before. It's actually a relatively simple game but the number of rules to the play can be overwhelming if you are just teaching yourself. As an aside, I've also heard that Zuckerberg is a brobdingnagian SoC fiend and used to hold game nights at the Facebook HQ.
