I don't want this to come off too much like an ad, but I want to share a good experience I had at a store in Town & Country Village on Embarcadero and El Camino in Palo Alto today.
I rarely go the T&CV since I live in the South Bay, and don't really have reason to stop over on game day, but today on my way back from a meeting in Palo Alto, I turned in to get a coffee from Peet's, and I stumbled upon UThreads, which up until today, I thought was an online only store. It's a Stanford fan store with a few Palo Alto (the city) and Paly stuff thrown in. I bought a warmup jacket on sale, and almost bought a windbreaker, as well. The women's department is really small, though
The prices are good, and in some cases, I found cooler things than at the bookstore. This is not to discourage you from going to the bookstore, but to encourage you to check them out if you're in Palo Alto. I don't think the owner would sell Nerd Nation items, but you never know.
